Tenants Contents Insurance

Letsure Tenants Contents insurance is available for individuals, families, couples and groups of no more than 4 single sharers (including students).

Cover is available for properties, with up to 4 bedrooms where the amount to be insured does not exceed £30,000.


COVER IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PROPERTIES OCCUPIED AS BEDSITS

Contents Insurance

Two levels of cover are available standard cover or standard plus accidental damage cover, both options will cover the tenants contents whilst in the home.

Contents include household goods and furniture and furnishings, including television, satellite and radio receiving aerial including parts that are fixed to the home, telephones, gas and electric cookers and meters and money up to £200.

All claims are subject to £100 excess

STANDARD COVER
The main risks covered are:

• Fire, lightning explosion, storm and flood, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, collision, escape of water
• Theft restricted to £2,500 for thefts from outbuildings and £400 for any one pedal cycle.
• Damage by falling radio, TV or satellite aerials or masts
• Subsidence
• Falling trees
• Accidental Damage to audio and video equipment etc with a limit of £2,500
• Contents in the open up to £500
• Theft of keys £250
• Loss of oil £500 and metered water £1,000
• Loss of rent as a result of an Insured peril up to £6,000.
• Contents temporarily removed £2,500
• Compensation for death £5,000
• Food in freezers £300
• House removal when using professional removers
• Deeds and documents £250
• Tenants liability to £2,500 if a tenant is found liable for damage to the landlords property but not Accidental Damage

Optional Extensions

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVER

Cover can be extended to include Accidental Damage, with this option, cover extends to include Accidental Damage, caused by the Tenant, to the landlord’s property up to £2,500.
